The Revered Canon Dan Alger leads the efforts of our Province to create a strong movement of church planting that multiplies healthy churches and healthy church planters. Dan has a long history in church planting, having helped church planters and church plants as a friend, trainer and coach for many years. He is currently planting a church in the greater Atlanta area, before that having started a church in Fayetteville, NC in the military community surrounding Fort Bragg where he was Pastor for 10 years.
Dan is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Trinity School for Ministry. Alongside his work for the Province, he also currently serves as the Canon for Church Planting for the Anglican Diocese of the South. Dan is married to Karen and they have two young sons. For fun, Dan is also a musician, disc golfer and home brewer.
