The Rev. Christopher Royer has been the Executive Director of Anglican Frontier Missions since July 2014. Chris was born and raised in Boulder, CO and graduated from Wheaton College with a double major in Biblical Studies and Philosophy. He went on to earn a master of arts degree from Wheaton in New Testament Studies. He then served in a Middle Eastern country, spending his first three years learning that country’s language and culture. He lived in South Korea for a year where he married his wife, Grace. Afterwards, Chris and Grace pioneered two different church plants in the Middle East. In 2004, Chris earned a master of divinity from Denver Seminary and in 2007, a diploma in Anglican Studies from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA. He was ordained to the transitional deaconate in 2008 and the priesthood in 2009. From 2008-2014, Chris served in parish ministry until he was called to lead AFM. Chris and Grace have two teenage daughters.
