A former USAF Pilot, Bishop Bill Atwood has been involved in mission activities for almost forty years. Strategies need to change in how the Church reaches out because we are losing the battle for the culture. Rather than accept defeat, Bishop Atwood has turned to discipling people and deploying them not only for parish ministry and home groups, but also in other areas of culture.
Bishop Bill is the Bishop of the International Diocese with parishes in the US and Haiti, and “Outreach Stations” in several African and Asian nations. Some, like Haiti have church buildings and schools, other works are much more discreet works operating quietly (though fruitfully) in areas with terrible opposition to the Gospel.
